Hey Scouts! Whether you’re working toward a merit badge or just love outdoor skills, this fun, skill-building adventure is for you.
You’ll learn practical, real-world survival skills that complement your scouting journey, including:
- Building shelters using natural materials
- Starting fires using both ancient and modern techniques
- Finding and treating safe drinking water
- Discovering ways to find food in the wild
- Tracking animals and practicing nature observation
Choose from single-skill sessions or a full 4-hour survival experience. Best of all — many activities may align with Scouting merit badge requirements!
What to Bring
✅ Water: Bring a full water bottle (or two)
✅ Snack: Pack a small snack for energy
✅ Footwear: Wear sneakers or boots you don’t mind getting muddy
✅ Clothing: Dress in layers and bring a backup set of clothes
✅ Rain Gear: Classes run rain or shine (except for severe storms)
✅ Work Gloves: Helpful for shelter-building and fire-making
Who Can Join
Open to Scouts ages 7 and up, along with their leaders and assistants.
We can accommodate up to 25 Scouts, with at least 3 adults required for supervision
Schedule & Pricing
📅 When: Monday–Saturday with flexible times available
Where? Location to be determined. Your own backyard can be an option.
💲 Pricing Options:
- Pick One Skill (e.g., fire-making, shelter-building, tracking): $25 per Scout (approx. 1.5–2 hrs)
- Survival Basics (shelter, fire, water, food): $50 per Scout (4-hour session)
Booking & Payment
- Deposit: 50% due at time of booking
- Balance: Due in full 2 days prior to program date
- Payment options: Credit card, check, or cash accepted for remainder of the balance. (call/email for alternate arrangements)
Cancellation Policy
✔ Cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a class credit (valid for 1 year toward another qualifying program)
✔ Weather-related cancellations (severe rain, lightning, etc.) will be rescheduled
❌ Refunds are not available for cancellations

✅ Waiver: A signed waiver is required before participation
