Whether your Scouts are just beginning their outdoor journey or working toward advancement, this hands-on wilderness experience builds practical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Every program is designed to be active, engaging, and adaptable to your troop’s age, experience level, and goals.
Scouts may explore skills such as:
- 🏕️ Shelter building using natural materials
- 🔥 Fire building with ferro rods and primitive methods
- 💧 Water awareness and basic purification concepts
- 🧭 Navigation, observation, and situational awareness
- 🐾 Wildlife tracking and nature observation
- 🌿 Wild edible and medicinal plant awareness*
- 🎣 Optional fishing experiences (where appropriate)
- 🤝 Team-building challenges and problem solving
*Plant discussions focus on identification and awareness only.
Many activities complement Scouting advancement while encouraging curiosity, leadership, and confidence through real-world outdoor experiences.
No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to explore.
What to Bring
